Pikelets
Tip
This recipe can be doubled.
You can add a banana, broken into pieces, when mixing in the bowl for banana pikelets
Replace sugar with 2 heaped tablespoons of Milo for chocolate pikelets
Use the ThermoServer to keep all the pikelets warm while you cook the rest. It saves running the oven, not little hands in danger of getting burnt and everyone gets to eat warm pikelets all together.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

Cooked these this morning for the first time.
Used oat milk and added in 1tsp baking powder and subbed the sugar for an overripe banana. Turned out light and fluffy, delish!
Thanks for the amazing recipe
Nice simple pikelet recipe! Didn't add any sugar but did add 1 tsp vanilla. Very nice!
Great easy recipe. I doubled the mixture but only put 60gm sugar and about 340gm milk. Also added teaspoon of vanilla and some baking powder. Lovely and light
I’ve been searching for a delicious pikelet recipe and this is IT!!!! Thanks for creating.
Yum. Great consistency and easy to make.
The pikelets were delicious and so easy to make. The sleepover crew gave them 5 stars!
Great recipe! Love that the batter is more of a runny consistency making it easier to remove from mixing bowl to a jug for pouring into a pan. I added 1 tablespoon of vanilla and 1tsp of bicarbonate soda to miX. Delicious
Nice and quick to make. My husband whipped these up for our kids. His were quite thin and not fluffy but they were quick and tasty and we enjoyed them. Thank you.
These are a favourite with the kids for a sweeter snack. Really easy and authentic.
So quick and easy. I added a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
