  • 7 g Bakers yeast, 1-2 Teaspoons

Recipe's preparation

    Prep
  1. preheat oven to 180FF

    Mill pearl barley on speed 7-9 for 30-45 seconds until fairly fine.

    Place barley into a bowl and set aside.

    Follow onboard recipe on guided cooking (basic cook book recipe chip) for Pizza Dough, when adding 400g of bakers flour, add milled barley first, then top up too 400g with bakers flour. 

    Continue with guided recipe on TM5 and place on thermomat to rise for approx an hour. 

    Roll out fairly thin, dough won't rise much when baking.

    top with ingredients of your choice and bake for 20-25mins

     

Tip

The less toppings used, the crispier the result as the juices from vegetables keep it from being overly crispy by adding moisture.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
