Ingredients

Almond and Chia biscuits

  • 200 grams almonds
  • 180 grams raw sugar
  • 1 level tablespoon chia seeds
  • 3 level tablespoon water
  • 1 level teaspoon Almond or vanilla paste
  • 60 grams Almond slivers
  • 1 egg white

Recipe's preparation

    Almond and Chia biscuits
  1. 1.Set oven to 150 degrees

    2.Place chia seeds and water into small bowl and soak 5 minutes or until seeds take on gooey texture

    3.Place sugar in TM bowl and mill 10 secs / speed 9. Set aside

    4.Place almonds in TM bowl and mill 5-10 secs / speed 9 

    5. Add 120 grams of the sugar, egg white , soaked chia seeds and essence/paste to TM bowl. Combine 20 secs/ speed 3 (thick paste consistency)

    6.Take teaspoon of mixture and roll in slivered almonds and reserved icing sugar

    7.Place on lined baking tray and bake 15-18 mins or until golden brown

     


Tip

You can also add 50grms of milk or dark chocolate. Just mill 10 secs / speed 8 before you mill the sugar and set aside. Then add with other ingredients (step 5)

 

These are just as delicious without the slivered almonds.
