I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Pulse the crumble ingredients using the turbo button a few times until you have a nice crumbly mix, you do not want flour. Be sure to leave some chunky bits, you want plenty of texture. Place this mixture in a bowl.
Place the apples and dates in your thermomix and pulse using turbo button until finely chopped. Once again you do not want a puree although it doesn’t matter at all if this is what you end up with.
Divide the apple mixture between four ramekins, top with the crumble mixture, bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until nicely golden. Enjoy!!!

Tip
Make sure you use unsalted butter not salted butter as you don't want the crumble to taste salty!

I liked this a lot. I had no walnuts in store so I used half almonds and half pistachio nuts instead. I used Gala apples. They looked good and they tasted good too. I can see that I shall be using this recipe many times.
Nice recipe, more an adult crumble than a child's crumble in my household, but great taste and very easy to make
