  • 2 tablespoon raw cacao powder
  • dash cinnamon
  • tablespoon your choice of dried fruit (e.g. dates, apricots, cranberries, sultanas, goji berries etc.), (optional, to decorate)

Recipe's preparation

  1.  

    1. Put the milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, cacao powder and cinnamon in your bowl.

    2. Stir on 37 degrees speed 4 for 10 minutes.

    3. Decorate with some goji berries and enjoy!

    with chia pudding pop in the ingredients and you just give a quick blend to mix together- speed 4- if u want a super smooth pudding u can blend again on a higher speed (6) after chilling in fridge for an hour. Chia seeds are quite textured- if u have ever had tapioca pudding, it is a similar feel to it - hearing it defeats the whole point of chia seeds and destroys all the nutrients out of it.

    Chia seeds are not supposed to Thicken with heat- they are usually used in salads, smoothies etc as egg replacer... to use in pudding u don't need to heat- throw all ingredients in, blend, chuck into a jar with lid and put in fridge OVERNIGHT- it will b ready in the morning

    I made a double batch and it also did not thicken.  Will reheat with cornflour and hope it thickens. :O

    Is this dessert supposed to thicken? It eas still runny after the 10min.  I have put it in the fridge in the hope ir will thicken .
