HannahMae4:
with chia pudding pop in the ingredients and you just give a quick blend to mix together- speed 4- if u want a super smooth pudding u can blend again on a higher speed (6) after chilling in fridge for an hour. Chia seeds are quite textured- if u have ever had tapioca pudding, it is a similar feel to it - hearing it defeats the whole point of chia seeds and destroys all the nutrients out of it.
HarleyRose:just purchased at tm5 wanting to give this ago. Wat do we blend on & for how long if not heating? Thanks
Chia seeds are not supposed to Thicken with heat- they are usually used in salads, smoothies etc as egg replacer... to use in pudding u don't need to heat- throw all ingredients in, blend, chuck into a jar with lid and put in fridge OVERNIGHT- it will b ready in the morning
Yummo!
I made a double batch and it also did not thicken. Will reheat with cornflour and hope it thickens. :O
Lovely dessert. A healthier version of a chocolate yogo
Is this dessert supposed to thicken? It eas still runny after the 10min. I have put it in the fridge in the hope ir will thicken .
Thanks so much! I am glad you and even your kids enjoyed it
We loved this, satisfied my sweet cravings without sugar. Even tricked the kids into eating something healthy for 'dessert'
