Ingredients

Prawn Gumbo

  • 65 grams plain flour
  • 100 grams oil
  • 1 small onion, halved
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1-2 whole chillis to taste
  • 1/2 bunch parsley
  • 1 tomato, halved
  • 1 zuchinni, cubed
  • 6 peices of brocolli
  • 1 cm peices of fresh ginger
  • 2 heaped tablespoons TM vege stock
  • 200 grams tinned or pre cooked tomoatos
  • 200 grams Liquid Chicken Stock
  • 400 grams water
  • 12 large green prawns, peeledand devained
  • 6 Extra cooked prawns for decorating, optional

Recipe's preparation

    Prawn Gumbo
  1. Put flour and oil into Closed lid"Closed lid" and cook 15mins/100/2. It should be dark brown.

    Add Tomato, Onion, Garlic, Ginger, Parsley toClosed lid"Closed lid" and chop 4secs/7.

    Cook 5mins/100/1 with mc off

    Add tinned toms, both stocks and water. Cook 5mins/100/1

    Add prawns & veges to Closed lid"Closed lid" 15mins/100/Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" /1

     

Tip

Serve on a bed of rice or noodles

    what sort of oil do you use? ive tried a few times and added more time and even put the temp up to varoma with no luck!?
