- a handful of fresh basil
- a handful of fresh coriander
- 3 tablespoons red curry paste, from a jar or make your own
- 500 g beef steak, cut into strips
- 1 onion
- 30 g oil
- 400 g tin of coconut milk
- 30 g sherry
- 1 bunch asparagus, cut into 3cm lengths
- 150 g green beans, trimmed into 3 cm lengths
- rice, to serve

Place beef and curry paste in a medium bowl. Stir to coat beef thoroughly. Marinade for 2 hours or overnight in the refriegerator. (If you haven't got time to do this, it will still taste fine if you dont marinade for long)
Place basil and coriander in TM bowl and chop 5 seconds speed 7. Set aside. No need to rinse bowl.
Place onion in TM bowl and chop 5 seconds speed 5. Scrape down sides. Add oil and saute for 3 min Varoma "Counter-clockwise operation" speed "Gentle stir setting" .
Add beef and cook 4-5 min Varoma "Counter-clockwise operation" speed "Gentle stir setting" .
Add coconut milk, sherry, asparagus, green beans and the herbs and cook for a further 5 min Varoma "Counter-clockwise operation" speed "Gentle stir setting" . Serve immediately with rice or transfer to thermoserver to keep warm while you cook the rice.
Tip
This recipe is modified from the phillidelphia 'simply heaven' cook book.
If you eat large meals, it will probably only make 4 portions.
