Ingredients
Curried Sausages
- 8-12 sausages
- 1 onion, Peeled & halved
- 2 clove garlic, Peeled
- 1 carrot, Roughly chopped
- 1-2 stalk Celery, Roughly chopped
- 1 zucchini, Roughly chopped
- 1 sprigs coriander, Leaves &/or stems
- 2 sprigs parsley, Leaves only
- 1-2 sprigs basil, Leaves only
- 2-4 tablespoon curry powder, Add to your liking
- 1 tablespoon Cumin Powder
- 400 g Tinned tomatoes
- 1-2 tablespoon ™ Stock Paste, To taste
- 300 g water
- 1 to taste pepper
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 30 g oil
- 400 g rice

Place rice in TM basket and rinse. Add 900g water to TM bowl and sit basket inside.
Place sausages on Varoma tray, pierce sausages and place into position on the THermomix.
Cook 14 mins / Varoma / Sp 4.
Once completed, put rice in thermoserver to keep warm and set sausages aside.
Place onion, garlic, vegetables (anything you want to clean out ofthe fridge), herbs and chop 3 secs / speed 5
Add oil, curry powder, cumin and saute 3 mins / varoma / sp 1
Add tomatoes, TM stock paste, water, pepper and sugar. Cook 10 mins / 100d / sp 1
Chop sausages into 1.5cm pieces and add to TM bowl, gently stir with sptula. Cook 8 mins / 100d / reverse / sp1
Serve with cooked rice and steamed beans

Hi do you tip out the 900mls water before step 2?

Very nice! I added a little ( 100ml) coconut milk with 200ml water, some cornflour to thicken at the end, and mixed in some sour cream. Kids gave it a 10/10. 👌🏻 Thanks for the recipe!
Absolutely loved it. Was a bit Spicy for the kids, so will put less curry powder in it next time. Will defy be a regular meal.

Lovely sausage curry for the family. We didn't find it too runny. Not the curried sausages we're used to, but yummy anyway.
Yum, great recipe. Decided to brown the sausages on a pan rather than use the varoma. Very tasty. I will definitely be cooking this again.
