Ingredients

Meatloaf

  • 750 grams Beef mince, (make your own or commercial)
  • 70 grams breadcrumbs
  • 20 grams french onion packet soup mix
  • 1 egg
  • 120 grams tomato sauce
  • 20 grams Worstershire sauce
  • 1 level teaspoon dried mixed herbs
  • 3-4 rashers rindless bacon, (optional)

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. To make breadcrumbs put bread or roll into TM bowl and crumb, sp 6 for 5 sec. Set aside

    2. If making own mince, add half the cubed meat to bowl, Closed lid"Closed lid" and Turbo pulse 8-10 secs until minced. Set aside. Repeat with other half.

    3. Add the reserved mince and all the other ingredients (except bacon) into the bowl.

    4. Pulse on Turbo a furhter 4-5 times.

    5. Mix for 20 secs on speed 5 to incorporate all ingredients and bind together.

    6. Tip out onto mat or board and shape into a log shape.

    7. Wrap in the bacon rashers if using. Put into Varoma bowl.

    8. Place 1200g water in TM bowl, place Varoma on top and steam for 45 minutes, Varoma temp speed 2.


Tip

Serve with tomato sauce or sweet chili dipping sauce.

Also great to make into hamburgers for the BBQ or roll into meatball size and steam for 25 minutes
