  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 700 grams Passata Sauce
  • 220 grams water
  • 1 heaped teaspoon Worcestshire Sauce
  • 2 heaped teaspoons Italian herbs
  • 1 egg
  • 100 grams long grain rice
  • 500 grams mince beef
  • 30 grams olive oil

Recipe's preparation

  1. Mix mince meat,egg,1 teaspoon of herbs, salt & pepper in thermomix bowl for 5sec speed5, add rice mix for 5sec speed 3 on Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" , shape into 3cm balls and place onto veroma tray, set aside. Wash thermomix bowl, place onion and garlic into bowl and chop 5sec speed 5,scrape down bowl wtih spatula,add oil and saute for 3min/veroma/speed 1 , add passata, water, worcestershire and the other teaspoon of herbs, place veroma on top and cook for 25min/veroma/speed 3. serve with pasta or mash potato.

Tip

For a lighter flavour you can use pork and veal mince.
