Ingredients

Wonton

  • 3 pieces garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves
  • 3 stalks Scallions
  • 3 centimetres ginger, grated
  • 500 grams minced pork with 15% fat
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 piece egg
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1/2 tablespoon chicken powder
  • 1 teaspoon Mushroom Bouillon, (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons fish sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Shallot/Garlic oil
  • 1 tablespoon lard
  • 250 grams shrimps, slice into 3-4 (according to your taste)

Recipe's preparation

  1. Put 3 pieces garlic cloves, 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves, 3 stalks scallions, 3 centimetres ginger. Chop 3 sec / sp.7
  2. scrape down, repeat 3 sec / sp.7
  3. Add 500gr minced pork. Grind 6sec / sp.5
  4. scrape down, repeat 6sec / sp.5
  5. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon ground white pepper, 2 teaspoons white sugar, 1 piece egg, 2 tablespoons corn starch, 1/2 tablespoon Chicken Powder, 1 teaspoon Mushroom Bouillon, 2 teaspoons Fish sauce, 2 teaspoons sesame oil, 1 tablespoon shallot / garlic oil, 1.5 tablespoon lard, 250 grams shrimps. Blend 1 min / sp. 2.5
  6. Continue to knead the dough 4 min
  7. wrap with wonton wrappers, put each of them on top of bao/dimsum papers and place them in varoma basket. Fill up the mixing bowl with 500 grams water, and steam 20 min / varoma / sp. 1 (you may also boil them)

Tip

you may serve with chicken broth (just add mushroom bouillon, salt, pepper, whole garlic and leeks)

    oh sorry, this recipe is the filling only Smile you may use commercial ready to use wonton wrappers. This is actually one of my favorite recipes, you should try!

    The recipe doesnt seem to clearly state what ingredients are for wrappers what ingredients are for filling and what ingredients are for sauce. Its a no from me.
