I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

    Taco rissoles
  1. Put halved onion in thermomix, chop 2 seconds, speed 6.
    scrape down sides.

Repeat if onion not fine enough for your preference

Add mince, taco and burrito packets.
    I used the Aldi brands.

    mince 10 seconds, speed 6 or 7.
    repeat if not well mixed.
if you don't want it to "mashed" use reverse.

Once well mixed, make patties and let marinade for a few hours to get a stronger flavour. Suggest 6-8 hours or overnight.

Spray bbq with EVO, cook patties on medium to low heat so as not to burn or over crisp, unless you like them that way.

I coated ours with home made garlic bread crumbs.
I used the meat patty maker, spooned in about 2 teaspoons of the mix, filled with meat then spooned on another 2 teaspoons of garlic bread crumbs.

To serve, I made the coleslaw from the basics cookbook,

I served in medium sized wrap with coleslaw and sliced patty.

You could easily adapt to other fillings or serve with salads a main meal, just use your imagination and enjoy!
