Mmmm yummo thx...I made rissoles n had with a salad...will definitely make again! Used leek instead of onion.
I made the meatballs and they were a bit wet, I steamed in the varoma and also tried in the oven - both tasty. The next lot I made I used 250g cauliflower instead of spinach and mushroom. awesome. thanks
Meatballs a bit wet : heavy had to add matzo meal to bind
Family enjoyed this. The recipe mentioned stock in the meatball mixture but quantity wasn't listed, so I just added a couple of tsp. Thanks
Yummo! Delicious meatballs. With an abundance of fresh garden produce I also used the zucchini in the sauce. Will be making this recipe again. Thanks for sharing.
We all really liked this. I served it with rice. I added half a small red capsicum in with the mushrooms for the meatballs. Then I added a small zucchini in with the tomatoes in the sauce to just add another veggie to the dish. Easy and yummy and the kids gobbled it up! Thanks
Apologies danscar - now corrected.
How much turkey and mushrooms are required? They're not listed in the ingredients.
I have now reduced the water in the recipe to 200g.
Thanks everyone for your feedback - much appreciated.
These were delicious! I used less water than the recipe stated, about 150g, and the sauce was nice and thick. I had to steam the veggies separately as I didn't have enough room in the Varoma, what with all of the meatballs. DH and DS (3 yo) loved it and it will become a regular recipe in our house.
