Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil/Coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 400 grams Green Prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cans Diced or crushed Tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 bunch Corriander or Italian Parsley, chopped
  • 1 Lemon zest removed and juiced
  • salt to taste
  • 1 heaped teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 Squeeze of Harissa Paste, depending on how hot you like it!

    CAULIFLOWER AND PRAWN PAELLA
  1. CAULIFLOWER AND PRAWN PAELLA        

    Grate Cauliflower in TM S5 3 seconds. You still want a bit of texture so I find 3 sec is all that is needed. Set aside.

     Mill onions,garlic and lemon rind on S5 10 sec. Scrap down sides and mill again until chopped fine. 

    Cook off onions, garlic and lemon zest for 5 mins on 100 degrees S3 with a 1tbs. of oil of choice (use approved stock for HCG protocol).  

    Add cauliflower back in to TM along with paprika, lemon juice and zest and cook at 100 degrees for 5 mins reverse S2.

     Add tinned tomatoes, tomato paste, lemon juice and cauliflower and mix on reverse S3 for 5-10 sec. 

    Add green prawns and corriander/parsley and Cook on 100 degrees varoma reverse SP 3 until prawns are pink and cooked through(about 5 mins).

    Cauliflower should still have a little texture and crunch/bite to it.Enjoy. Bon appetite x

    I agree that the recipe is confusing, but managed to muddle my way through. I put it on Varoma at the end and speed soft and it worked out well. Hubby and I loved it, will add more Harissa paste next time as I was a bit conservative as I haven't used it before. I used about half a small cauliflower.

    When you add the prawns, do you cook on 100 degrees or on varoma....little confusing

    I had trouble following the instructions, I don't know if there is an updated version?  I know it's hard to edit once published, anyway it was a good basis, but I had to make up things as I went, which is fine for me, it is a tasty stew though tmrc_emoticons.;) i couldnt see how much cauliflower to use either.  we added chorizo in the begging for flavour and texture. And I put fish, squid and prawns in the varoma.  But cauliflower over cooked, so would add later next time last five minutes.

    Easy and healthy recipe but recipe needs editing and refining its a little bland and speed too high even on reverse and chopped prawns up. Will try it again with less onion and few more spices and salt.
