Recipe's preparation

  1.

    Fill and boil your kettle.

Place onion and garlic into TM bowl and chop for 5 seconds on Speed 7.

Add oil and sauté for 3 minutes at 100oC on Speed 1.

Add carrots and chop for 4-5 seconds on Speed 4.

Add lentils then fill with boiling water to just below the top of the carrots.

Cook for 20 minutes at 100oC on Speed 2.  Reduce to Speed Slow or Speed 1 once it is mixing well.  Tilt MC to allow mixture to reduce.  You can also drain some of the liquid before adding tomatoes and butter, depending on your taste.

Add tomatoes, butter and salt and continue to cook for 10 minutes at 100oC on Speed 1.

If needed, continue to cook for 10 minutes at 100oC on Speed 1 to allow it to reduce.

Pulverise for 30 seconds on Speed 9.

Put into Thermoserver then stir in cheese.

Serve with Naan Bread, Turkish Bread or use as an alternative to sauce on pasta.

Tip
