I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

    Pasta
  1. Put a large pot of water on the stove to boil, add a pinch of salt and a dessert spoon of oil (this will prevent pasta from sticking together).  When boiling add all the pasta from the package and give a brief stir to separate.  I like using macaroni.

  2. Tuna Sauce
  3. Put cheese cubes into Thermomix bowl and grate for 6 seconds speed 6

  4. Add remaining ingredients EXCEPT TUNA, and cook for 7minutes, 100deg Speed 4.

While the Sauce is cooking put your pasta into the boiling water.  7/8 minutes is usually long enough to cook macaroni.  Remember to stir the pasta when in the water to ensure it does not stick together.

  5. When the Sauce time finishes, open the tinned tuna and add to the sauce in the Thermomix bowl.

  6. Cook for 1minute, Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" , 100deg, speed 2.

  7. Drain and rinse pasta and return to the pot.  Pour sauce over  and gently stir through.  Leave it stand for 2 minutes before serving.

I love a dollop of chutney and cracked pepper on mine.  Enjoy tmrc_emoticons.)

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Super quick and tasty. As per other comments, removed cheese and grated carrot, capsicum, broccoli and garlic before adding other ingredients. Thanks for the recipe!

Kids loved it even with sneaky veg, put one carrot and one zucchini in first step with some rosemary, put some fresh parsley in with tuna at end. Kids want leftovers in their lunch boxes tomorrow!

My kids thought it was the best tuna pasta ever!  Very simple & a little cheesy flavoured!  I'm all into hiding veg for them (where possible). After grating the cheese, I removed it from Thermie & I added Carrot, Cellery & Capcicum & grated them speed 6, 7 sec. Then followed instructions for step 3 - adding grated cheese & rest of ingredients along with the chopped veg.  I also added dried dill & parsley before cooking. When adding the tuna in step 4, I also added English Spinach. I poured a little sauce over the pasta & there is enough for another night! Yum!
