I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Grate parmesan cheese on speed 10/10 seconds, set aside in bowl for garnishing later.
Place garlic, onion and chilli (is using) into bowl and chop
3 sec/speed 7.
Scrape down sides.
Add oil and saute for 3 min/100 degrees/speed 1 (leave MC off)
Add tomoatoes, tuna (including brine) oregano, basil, raw sugar
and cook for 10 min/100 degrees/"Counter-clockwise operation" soft speed.
Add water , tomato paste and pasta and depending on what pasta you use, cook 9 - 12 min/100 degrees/"Counter-clockwise operation" soft speed.
Check to see if pasta is cooked if not cook for another couple
of minutes or to your liking.
Springkle with lashings of parmesan cheese and a large dollop of your favourite mayonnoise.
Tip
Make your mayonnaise first if you want. Stir through pasta once served prior to garnishing with cheese, makes it nice and creamy.
Add as much or as little to none of chilli. The amount I have suggested is very slight and is child friendly.
This is my go to meal when I have no meat out, so quick and easy and very limited ingredients.

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
