Ingredients

Artichoke Dip

  • 180 g Parmasen, cubed
  • 2 cloves garlic, Peeled
  • half Red spanish onion
  • 500 - 600 g marinated artichokes, drained, 1 large jar or 2 smaller jars
  • 140 g mayonaise, Home made or S&W brand
  • 140 g Sourcream
  • 2 tsp Tabasco sauce
  • dash smoked paprika, for garnish
  • small bunch Continental Parsley, roughly hand chopped for garnish

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre heat Oven to 180°C

     

  2. Place Parmasen Cheese into bowl and grate for 8 sec / sp 9

     

  3. Add garlic and onion and chop 5 sec / Sp 4

     

  4. Add drained artichoked and pulse 1 sec / 2-3 times to retain rough texture

     

  5. Add Mayonaise, Sour cream, tabasco and mix 5 sec/Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" / sp 4

     

  6. Transfer to a couple of shallow dishes or 1 large shallow dish, sprinkle with smaoked paprika and bake for 20 - 30mins.

    You will smell it when it's cooked. 

     

  7. Garnish with Parsely

     

  8. Serve warm or cool with turkish bread, chips or crackers

     

Tip

use your simmer basket to drain your artichokes. Bake one now and save the other for the next event
