I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Put garlic cloves into bowl and set speed 7 for 3 seconds. Scrape down sides of bowl, and repeat.
Insert Butterfly whisk
put egg yolks, mustard and half the lemon juice in bowl and beat - speed 3 for 20 seconds.
Set Thermomix to speed 3 for 3 minutes (with butterfly in). Add oil through gap in lid (between lid and MC) to drizzle in slowly. This step should take around the 3 mins mark - extend time if necessary - you don't want to rush the oil drizzle.
Pour in around 25 grams of hot water and the rest of the lemon juice. Add salt.
Mix for another 10 seconds speed 3.
Pour into jar and refigerate.

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

yes I only use olive oil for dressings and mayo recipes.
Has anyone used olive oil instead of grape seed oil?
I'm a very newbie to the Thermomix world! But I had every success with this recipe! Having with our steak after I mix in a small bit of wasabi
It was great but I think we could put a little less salt 😋🤠
Loved this recipe - perfect with our breaded mushrooms - thank you. Pls does someone know how long it keeps for in the fridge?
Does the hot water cook the egg?
Beautiful subtle flavours, loved by all.
This is a lovely recipe for aioli and easy to make. If you’re like us and love a strong garlicky taste...double the garlic quantity. Makes a good quality too. Thank you for sharing 🙂
Delicious, thankyou! We love garlic in our house, so I doubled the garlic. I also ran out of grape seed oil, and only had 400g. Still turned out well 👌
So easy to make and delicious! Made two jars full.
