Gravy
- 1 tomato, Cut into quarters
- 1/2 onion, Cut in half
- 1 clove garlic
- 35 g Butter, Cubed
- 40 g plain flour
- 20 g Vegetable Stock Paste (BCB)
- 10 g balsamic vinegar
- 15 g Worcestershire sauce
- 15 g Vegemite or Promite or Bonox
- 15 g HP sauce
- 20 g brown sugar
- 2 tsp ground black pepper, Optional
- 500 g water
- 40 g coconut cream

1. Place tomato, onion and garlic in TM bowl. Chop 3sec/Sp 7. Scrape down sides.
2. Add butter, sauté 5min/100*/Sp 2. Add flour and cook 1 min/100*/Sp 1.
3. Add stock paste, balsamic, Worcestershire, vegemite, HP sauce, sugar, pepper (optional) and water. Cook 8min/100*/Sp 4
4. Add coconut cream and cook 1min/100*/Sp 4. Taste to see if you like it, add BBQ sauce if it's not sweet enough. If not thick enough, make a cornflour paste with 2 heaped tsp plus a little water, add to gravy and cook for 1.5 min/100*/Sp 4.
Tasty Pepper Gravy
Tip
Add the pepper to taste or leave it out for a less hot gravy.

Delicious and easy but will reduce the sugar next time
Awesome worked well, I had enough left over, so I added two small tubs of tomato paste and water, plus Italian herbs. Will use again for spaghetti bowl base
Delicious! Didn't have a tomato so made with 50ml less water. Tasted prior to adding coconut cream and liked it, so didn't add this either. Next time will add coconut cream just to compare, but this recipe is a keeper
