This a versatile recipe. I used 2 tins tomatoes and mixed herbs and fresh basil. Really good recipe to use with lentil burgers or with pasta. Thanks
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback.
Had a stack of tomatoes given to me so thought i would have a go at this. Really nice relish/gravy, our tomatoes were nice and sweet. seperated into bags for freezing so when the grandkids come will have a pasta or meatball meal ready in no time. Thanks for the recipe
Hi there
I cut them in halves - and I don't peel them
This is homemade relish - not bought - try it out - super easy, super delicious!
I would just cut them into quarters.
What else could I use instead of the bought relish?
Do you have to cut up the tomatoes or peel them before placing into the "Closed lid"
