Ingredients

  • 3 spring onions, Chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 10 grams olive oil
  • 420g can Cream Corn
  • 150g can corn kernals
  • 900 grams chicken stock
  • 2 cups Shredded Cooked Chicken
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sweet chilli sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Corn Flour, Mixed with cold water

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Place Spring onions & Garlic into bowl & chop. Speed 5 for 5 sec, scrape sides and repeat

    2. Add olive oil and sauté 100deg, speed 1 reverse, 3 min.

    3. Add cream corn, corn, chicken stock and chicken. Cook for 20min, on 100, reverse speed 1. 

    4. Set for 2min, speed 1, then gradually add soy sauce, sweet chilli, & corn flower mixed with water.

    5. Place in thermo server.

    Hi, I made this last week. Found it a bit too salty for my taste (might be the brand of soy sauce I used) , but my family loved it. Next time I'll halve the quantity of soy sauce and they can add their extra bit if they want to.Thank you.

    Tasty Chicken and Sweet Corn Soup                      This is a very easy to make soup with heaps of taste.  Options to add some noodles to it as well for those who like it that way.  We will definitely be making this again and enjoy experimenting with the flavours and ingredients.  Thigh fillets would add to the tast as would some chicken cuts on the bone.  I just steamed the chicken prior to shredding it for the soup and kept the water that it had been steamed over for the base of the stock.
