Recipe's preparation

  1. chop onion and pumpkin (leave the skin on) 5secs/sp7

  2. add water and stock and cook 12mins/varoma/sp1 with the steaming basket on the lid

  3. puree pumpkin 1min/sp9 and set aside in thermoserver

  4. don't rinse bowl, add milk, butter, flour, salt and pepper.  Cook 5mins/90°/sp4

  5. add pureed pumpkin and mix 10secs/sp6

    I have made this pumpkin soup numerous times. I added 2 garlic cloves with the onion and pumpkin in step 1 to give extra taste. Everyone loves this recipe, it is now a family favourite.

    Quick and easy. Makes a yummy thick pumpkin soup. I also added a bit of curry powder for extra flavour and was very nice.

    Just made this. It is by far the yummiest pumpkin soup I've made. I added a teaspoon of curry power for a bit of spice
