TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Just finished eating this and it was smiles all round. I followed the recipe but did add some leek and crispy bacon. Very easy to follow. Will make again.
Just made this and the smell while cooking was 🤤🤤and the taste was amazing. I didn't double spices and it was spot on for me as per the recipe. Will be a staple in this house now.
Really delicious. Not a huge fan of spicy soups so just reduced the cumin by half to suit personal taste but other than that it was perfect. Thanks for sharing.
this is amazing. what a creation! and just a beautiful hint of chilli that you get at the mouthful but it doesn't linger! yummo.
A perfect winter soup. Reduced water to 850ml for TM31.
Enjoyable, i think Maroccan flavours just arent for me. It was tasty but i think the cumin stinks 😂 but still enjoyed the soup! Was VERY easy. And i had all the ingredients at home. I think if you wnjoy pumpkin soup but want a change for something spicy, then this is the soup for you
So yummy!! I cut back a little on the cumin by about 1 tsp and added a sprinkling of garam masala.
Served it up with a naughty dollop of light sour cream and my 3 year old and I scoffed it down!
Fantastic Soup! I added more spices too, but its a lovely texture and nice and filling. Thanks for sharing.
Delicious!!
loved this soup and this spicy taste. The chickpeas added creaminess and it was certainly very filling
Nice soup but certainly didn't need any extra spices. Mine were freshly ground in the thermomix and probably had more flavor and aroma.
