Ingredients

- 5 g chives
- 5 g parsley
- 1 brown onion
- 1 dash olive oil
- 150 g red capsicum
- 250 g potatoes
- 100 g carrots
- 500 g Campbell's fish stock
- 300 g green prawn meat, or other seafood of choice.

Chop chives and parsley sp6 for 3 seconds and set aside. No need to clean bowl.
Chop brown onion sp6 for 3 seconds, scrape down sides.
Add dash of olive oil and heat 100 degrees, sp 1 for 2 minutes.
Add capsicum, potatoes, carrots and fish stock and cook for 30 minutes at Varoma temperature speed 1.
Blend for 1 minute starting at speed 3 and gradually increasing to speed 7. Taste and season with salt/pepper to taste.
Add seafood of choice, e.g. green prawns, calamari, firm fish. Push down into soup with spatula. Cook on "Counter-clockwise operation" , sp2, 100 degrees for approximately 4 minutes or until cooked. Add chopped chives and parsley during the last minute or two.
Tip
If the seafood is still a bit frozen or to reduce the overall cooking time, the seafood can be pre-cooked in the varoma dish during the vegetable cooking time.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
