Ingredients

  • 180 grams brown sugar
  • 125 grams Butter or Margarine
  • 100 grams Chocolate (milk or dark)
  • 25 grams golden syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, (59g)
  • 270 grams plain flour
  • 20 grams cocoa
  • 0.5 teaspoon bicarb of soda
  • 200 grams M & M's, or as many as you can fit in!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Mill brown sugar for 10 secs/speed 8

  2. Add butter and combine 5 secs/speed 6

  3. Add chocolate and golden syrup and melt for 2mins/50 degrees/speed 2

  4. Add flour,cocoa, bi-carb, egg and vanilla and mix for 15-30 sec/speed 6

  5. Add M&M's  and combine approx 20 secs/Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 2

  6. Roll mix into balls and place on baking tray. Bake at 180 degrees, for approx 10 mins. Biscuits are done when they puff up and crack slightly. Stand for 5 mins before cooling on a wire rack.

    Very nice, I used choc chips instead of m&m's and didn't have any chocolate to melt into the dough and they still worked great. I will reduce the sugar next time to suit my own taste.

    Absolutely delicious. Going into my favourites. Didn't have enough m&m's so used a few white choc chips as well.

    These were a hit! I just added choc chips instead of M&Ms and only used 100g not 200g. I almost forgot to add cocoa and bicarbonate as it wasn't mentioned in method.
