Red Lentil and Quinoa GF DF Tortillas

  • 90 grams red lentils, Dry
  • 80 grams quinoa white, Dry
  • 400 grams filtered water
  • 1 level teaspoons salt
  • 1 level teaspoons pepper
  • coconut oil or sunflower oil, For brushing

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Soak lentils and quinoa overnight in a large amount of water. Drain off and rinse really well.
  2. Add all ingredients into the Thermomix® bowl (including the 400g water). Using the Blend"Blend" blend mode. 30 secs, speed 8. Scrape down the sides and repeat until batter is very smooth and runny.
  3. Heat frypan and brush with oil. Pour 1/3 cup of batter into the pan and quickly spread around. Leave in pan for 2-3 mins before turning. Turn over on each side 2 times. Repeat for the rest of the mixture. Makes 10. Place into an airtight container ready for use.

Tip

Use a hot frypan and easy metal spatula for turning. Brush with oil

Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
