Lovely Ginger Cake. I had my doubts about using Plain Flour and was delighted with the light and smooth texture. We didn't eat the cake for a couple of days and I then lightly toasted slices in the sandwich toaster and spread sparingly with butter. Absolutely delicious!! My family loved it.
I made this with rice milk/dairy free marg, as my daughter is allergic to cows milk, and it still tastes delicious. Thank you!
Tried your recipe last night and it was a huge hit! Next time I might put in a little extra ginger, but it is my new favourite! Thank you so much for posting!
Make this ginger cake the other day and was very impressed taste just great. Will be making this again.
This recipe is not only simple but also tastes way too good. It looks like I might need to make a second one...to get through the day. It should come with a warning that eating it can lead to addiction.
