  • 100 grams Tapioca
  • 875 grams Milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 75 grams sugar
  • pinches brown sugar
  • pinches salt
  • 2 egg yolk, beaten

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place a bowl onto mixing bowl lid and weigh sago and milk into it. Set aside to soak for 10 minutes.
  2. Insert butterfly whisk. Place sugars, vanilla, salt and sago and milk mix into mixing bowl and cook 15 min/90°C/Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" speed 2
  3. Add in egg yolks. cook further 5 min/90°C/Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" speed 2
  4. Let stand 2 min, serve with cream or preferred topping. (stewed rhubarb etc)

Tip

Add a cinnamon quill and 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon to the tapioca-milk mixture to add a hint of spice to the pudding.

Tastes exactly like what Nana made for us as children.
