Ingredients

Base

  • 60 g medjool dates, pits removed
  • 70 g raw almonds
  • 1 level tbsp coconut oil melted
  • pinch of cinnamon

Caramel

  • 100 g medjool dates, pits removed
  • 50 g coconut oil melted
  • 180 g soaked cashews
  • 50 g Maple syrup
  • 50 g water
  • 1.5 heaped tablespoons tahini or nut seed butter

Chocolate Layer

  • 50 g coconut oil melted
  • 50 g pure organic maple syrup or coconut nectar syrup
  • 50 g raw cacao powder
  • 1 level tsp Organic Vanilla Bean Paste
  • pinch Himalayan salt

Recipe's preparation

    soak your cashews in water and a pinch of salt for 3-4 hours, then drain and rinse.
  1. Add all the ingredients for the base into the mixing bowl and chop 10sec/speed 9.


    Mould the mixture into a tin lined with baking paper and place into the freezer to set.


    Now put all the caramel ingredients except the water into the mixing bowl and also mix 10 sec/speed 9. Now add the water and mix 10 sec/speed 5.


    Pour the caramel mixture on top of the base and put it back in the freezer.


    Finally mix all the ingredients for the chocolate layer in the mixing bowl for 10 sec/speed 7,scape down the sides of the bowl and again 3 sec/speed 7.


    Make sure the caramel layer has set before spreading the chocolate layer on top and return to the freezer again.
