Have made these twice now and we are loving them...thanks for sharing the recipe... I do cheat and buy the pickled cabbage leaves in a jar and just give them a quick rinse  Love

no you need water because it cooks for hour and 1000g liquid needed also only 20g paprika which is a tablespoon not a strong spice mild but up to you may be tasteless with a tsp tmrc_emoticons.)

Little confused as to the water in sauce??? I left this out as I'm guessing it was listed under sauce when It was the water for cabbage leaves. Am I right???? Never made before do no clue if I'm doing it right. And yes is the amount if paprika correct??? I reduce it as it seems like way too much.

Made this dish tonight and it was yummy. One of my favourite Thermie recipes so far. My husband loved it.  This will be a regular dish here! The only thing I did different was the amount of paprika. 20g seems an awful lot, maybe a misprint? I only put in approximately 3 tablespoons in each, sauce and meat mixtures. It was fine.

A couple of questions as I have never made these.

    1. When do you know your cabbage leaves are ready to peel off?

2 in the directions you mention meat, but no meat is listed in the ingrediants? What meat do you use and how much.
