Ingredients

Chicken Lasagne

  • 2 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 15 grams olive oil
  • 500 grams chicken breast, diced (3cm)
  • 400 grams tomatoes, tin (chopped)
  • 40 grams tomato paste
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 250 grams dried lasagne sheets
  • 100 grams cheese
  • 40 grams Butter
  • 500 grams Milk
  • 40 grams plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 pinches pepper, ground
  • 200 grams Liquid Chicken Stock

Recipe's preparation

    Meat Sauce
  1. Peel carrots, chop into chunks. Grate 5 seconds, speed 5. Set aside in a bowl.
  2. Place onion and garlic in bowl. Chop 3 seconds, speed 5.
  3. Add olive oil and sauté 3 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 1.
  4. Add diced chicken. Cook 5 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 1 MC off.
  5. Add grated carrot, canned chopped tomatoes, chicken stock, tomato paste, dried oregano, dried basil and salt & pepper to taste. Cook 10 minutes, 100 degrees, Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" speed 1, simmering basket on top to stop splashes.
  6. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius.
  7. Set meat sauce aside in large bowl. Wash and dry mixing bowl.
  8. Cheese Sauce
  9. Place cheese into mixing bowl and grate 5 seconds, speed 7.
  10. Set aside half the cheese in a separate bowl.
  11. Add butter, milk, flour, salt, pepper and set to Thickening"Thickening" thickening.
  12. Assemble
  13. Layer baking dish with meat sauce, lasange sheets and cheese sauce. Repeat layers x2.
  14. Cover baking dish with foil and bake in preheated oven for 30 mins. Then remove foil, sprinkle over extra cheese and bake for an additional 10-15 mins. Let lasange rest for 15 mins before serving.
