Ingredients

  • 1 onion, halved
  • 1 celery stalk, chopped
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 4tbs mint leaves
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1tbs Ground Coriander
  • 1tbs ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes, dried, you could use fresh chilli
  • 2tbs natural yogurt, strained for 10mins
  • 1tbs oil of choice, ghee/coconut would be good as its indian recipe
  • 500g turkey mince, i bought inghams which looks to be mixture of dark and white meat

Recipe's preparation

  1. I grind fresh coriander and cumin if you do around 50g at a time and store in small jar the taste is superior to pre ground spices

     

    Place onion, carrot and celery in TM and chop 3 seconds/speed 7

    Add mint,garlic and chilli, chop 3 seconds/speed 7

    Add turkey, spices and yoghurt and mix on reverse/speed3 till combined.leave 4hours or 24 to enhance flavours 

    Shape and pan fried for few min each side,i used a little oil 

    Serve with salad or in a bun

    i will add a tomato sauce which is delicious to serve with i reckon mango chutney and some yoghurt with mint would be delicious also

     

     

Tip

could be made into small bite size for tapas delicious
