Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

This dish has a very fine texture and the kids can't see any of the vegetables 😉
It is really yum on rice or mash potatoes.
I decreased the curry to 5g as it was for the kids - still had a good flavour.
I used 1kg of mince but left sauce ingredients as they were - plenty wet enough and is good and meaty. This made heaps - plenty for leftovers for lunch the next day.
newson5:fabulous! You are most welcome
Everyone loved this!!! I didn't think they would as it was 2nd day for mince but I had everything so went for it. Even my fussy eater ate it and had seconds! My daughter and I had it with baby spinach and rice in a wrap. Thank you!
Tasty:Am pleased to hear you liked it! I come up with this recipe when I needed to quickly feed my hungry kids and husband one night, using just what i had on hand
I was a bit nervous to try this as it had no reviews but I needed something for a potluck and had most of the ingredients so I thought I'd give it a shot. I heard so many people commenting positively on it and was pleased with the result. I follwed the recipe except for the following: left out kecap manis as didn't have any but put in 25g teriaki sauce as that's all I had as an alternative, left out peas due to allergies and only put in 10g curry powder which made it spicy enough for me. I don't think I could handle any more spicy. Also I didn't make rice as it shows here but with the usual method where you put 400g rinsed rice in basket, 800g water. 15 mins - Varoma - Speed 4.
