Ingredients

Pork

  • 1-2 pork tenderloins
  • salt, pepper, paprika
  • 5 bacon rashers
  • 1 brown onion
  • 15 g oil or butter, for frying
  • 350 g water
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable stock paste

Veggies

  • e.g. carrots, sliced thinly
  • e.g. zucchini, sliced a bit thicker
  • e.g. broccoli, in small florets

Sauce

  • 150 g Milk
  • 15-20 g tomato paste or puree
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 15-20 g corn starch

Recipe's preparation

    Pork
  1. Cut the fillet into medaillons about 2-3 cm thick, flatten slightly and season with salt, pepper and paprika.
    2. Cut bacon rashers in half lengthways and wrap around the pork pieces. Transfer into varoma dish and put aside.
  2. Dice onion 5 sec / speed 5. Scrape down sides with spatula.
    4. Add butter or oil and sautee 3 min / varoma / speed 1.
    5. Add water and stock paste to the Closed lid"Closed lid" and put Varoma on top. Cook for 30 min / varoma / speed 1.
  3. Veggies
  4. 6. If steaming vegetables, layer these into the varoma tray and stack this onto the varoma dish about 10 min into the cooking.
  5. Sauce
  6. 7. Take meat out of the varoma and briefly fry from both sides in a fry pan.
    8. Add milk, tomato paste (or tomato puree), cream cheese and corn starch (might only need 15g?) to the Closed lid"Closed lid" and blend 5 min / 100°C / speed 4.
    9. Add sauce and veggies to the fry pan with the meat and gently stir.
    10. Serve with carbs of your choice.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
