Ingredients
- 1 onion, peeled and halved
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- tumeric and ginger, optional
- 2 bacon rashers, roughly chopped
- 10-20g olive oil or other fat
- 2 Beef Cheeks, sliced into 1-2cm chunks
- 2 tomatoes, halved
- 200g mixed vegetables roughly chopped, eg carrots, parsnip, zucchini
- 1 tablespoon each of Tamari, coconut amino, worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon each chilli flakes and lemon myrtle
- juniper berries, optional
- 200g - 250 g beef stock
- 1 tablespoon TM vegetable concentrated stock
- mixed vegetables sliced, optional

Add onion, garlic, tumeric, ginger and bacon to bowl. Chop 3 sec/ sp 7. Scrape down sides of bowl. Add oil or other fat. Saute 3 mins /Varoma/sp 2.
Add tomatoes and mixed vegetables to bowl. Chop 3 sec/sp 7.
Scrape down sides of bowl. Add beef cheeks, tamari, coconut amino, worcestershire, chilli flakes, lemon myrtle, juniper berries and stocks. Cook 1 hr/90 degrees/"Counter-clockwise operation" "Gentle stir setting" .
Add the sliced mixed vegetables and cook 1 hr/90 degrees/"Counter-clockwise operation" "Gentle stir setting" .
Check cheeks are tender. If not, cook for another 20 minutes.
If you want a thicker dish, add flour/butter mixture and cook a further 10 minutes/100 degrees/"Counter-clockwise operation" "Gentle stir setting" .
Tip
Some of the ingredients are optional. Chorizo can be substituted for the bacon. Chilli, lemon myrtle, juniper berries aren't for everyone. Substitute or add your favourite herbs or spices.
