Ingredients

Chicken, Noodles & Vegtables

  • 1 package Kan Tong Noodles Udon, 2pk 440g
  • 600 gram Chicken Breast Cubed
  • 300-400 gram Mixed veggies of choice, Chopped
  • 750 gram water

Satay Sauce

  • 1 onion
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 180 gram crunchy peanut butter
  • 35 gram soy sauce
  • 50 gram Sweet chilli sauce
  • 80 gram oyster sauce
  • 1 can Light Coconut Milk 400ml

Recipe's preparation

    Satay Sauce
  1. 1. Add Onion & Garlic and Chop for 3 seconds on spd 7.

    2. Add rest of sauce ingredients and cook for 5min, 100deg speed 3.

    3. Transfer to Thermoserver.

  3. 1. Add 750 grams of Water, place chicken in the Varoma tray then vegtables in the bottom of your varmoa dish. Remeber to check the cooking times on some vegtables as they may not take 20 minutes.

    2. Set Thermomix to 20min,Varoma,Sp2. Check chicken at 10 minutes and stir.

    3. 5 mintues to go place Udon Noodles into Varmo dish and stir and check chicken again. Continue to cook for the remainder 5minutes or longer if needed.

    4. When Chicken and Vegtables are cooked place all ingredients into Thermoserver with Satay sauce and mix with spatula until combined. 

Tip

 If you do not have Udon Noodles you can substitue for Rice which can be steamed at the same time as the Chicken and Veggies.

 Please remember that depending on the size of vegtables and qty it is important to check the cooking quide in the Basic Cookbook for steaming times.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
