Ingredients
- 3/4 cup "Naturally" Rice & Lentil Mix
- 750 ml chicken stock
- 1/4 cup EVOO (olive oil)
- 1 brown onion
- 1/2 tablespoon ginger (from a jar)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic (from a jar)
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cumin.
- 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt & pepper to taste

Place rice mix in basket & poor over the stock. Cook Varoma / 45 mts / sp 2. Drain & set aside. Place onion, garlic & ginger into bowl. Chop 3 secs / sp 7. Scrape down bowl & chop again 3 secs / sp 7. Add oil & cook 100 % / 3 mts / sp 2. Scrape down bowl. Add the spices & tomato paste & cook 100 % / 2 mts / sp 2. Scrape down bowl. Add the rice & breadcrumbs then season with salt & pepper. Mix 20 secs / sp 3. Remove half the mixture & set aside. Puree the remaining mixture 10 secs / sp 6. Add the two mixes together & blend by hand using spatular. Set aside for 10 mts. With moistened hands, form 4 large patties. Fry the patties in a little EVOO till both sides are golden brown, approx 5 mts. Serve on a toasted bun with salad & Thermomix mayo.

Tip
If you can't find "Naturally" Rice & Lentil Mix in the supermarket, try mixing you ouwn - 1/2 cup brown rice & 1/4 cup whole green lentils.
