Ingredients

Anne's Tuna Pasta

  • Parmesan cheese
  • 500 grams pasta, spirals
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 15 grams Butter
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 1 sprig Sage
  • 0.5 tsp Vegeta (seasoning), or 1 tsp Veggie Stock
  • 425 grams Tuna in Oil, (large tin Sirena)
  • 140 grams tomato paste, (one tub)

Recipe's preparation

    Anne's Tuna Pasta
  1. Grate parmesan cheese in TM and then set aside

  2. Drain tuna, reserving oil for later use

  3. Put a large pot of salted water on to boil (for the pasta)

  4. Peel Garlic & Onion. Cut Onion in to quarters and along with Garlic add to TM bowl. 3-6 Seconds, Speed 7

  5. Clean down sides. Add Rosemary, Sage & Butter. MC off, 3 minutes, 100C, Speed 1

  6. Add Tomato Paste (keep empty container). MC on (at an angle), 2 minutes, 100C, Speed 1

  7. Fill the Tomato Paste Tub with water and add to TM. Also add Vegeta, Tuna and 50g of the reserved Tuna OilMC on (at an angle), Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting" , 9-11 minutes, 100C

  8. Add pasta to the boiling water and cook till Al dente.

    Drain Pasta & return to the pot.

    Add the Tuna mix and stir through.

    Serve topped with grated parmesan cheese.

    Love this. First tried when wanting to make lunch for my dairy-intolerant mum and also for my 3year old. All of us satisfied. 3 year old loves it - I freeze it in small portions and it's an easy dinner to boil pasta and defrost the sauce. Thanks
