I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Add spring onions and garlic to the jug
chop 3-5 sec/speed 5
scrape down sides of the jug
chop a further 3-5 sec/speed 5
add butter and melt 3 min/100 degrees C/speed 1 - Scrape and repeat if necessary
add flour and cook 3 min/ 100 degress C/speed1
add milk, salt and stock powder and cook 6 min/90 degrees C/speed 4
While Mornay is cooking, sautee finely chopped bacon and chicken (bite size pieces) in a frypan on the stove and once cooked add handfuls of Spinach until wilted. No additional oil required as the fat of the bacon suffices.
When mornay is ready - add tasty cheese, feta cheese, bacon, chicken, spinach, corn, any additional seasoning, or any other chosen ingredients
Select reverse mode / speed 3 until blended (usually 3-4 seconds) - hand fold to lift anything from the bottom of the jug and whiz again on reverse if required...
Add lemon juice to taste (start with half add accordingly) and 3 heaped Tsp of smooth Dijon Mustard reverse blend again...
Season to taste
Serve with cooked pasta or rice of your choice
Mix together and serve
While sauce is cooking, simmer penne or pasta of your choice in salted boiling water for the time indicated on the packet. (I cooked about 3/4 a standard packet of Penne)
Once cooked drain excess water and add sauce to pot and stir through.
Serve and Enjoy!!!!!

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Unusual. Very frustrating recipe to follow and the ingrediant list needs to be re-written. Although we all somewhat enjoyed it, I probably wont make it again
Very nice! Husband and I loved it.
Delicious!! I used 1/4 onion instead of spring onion, left the mustard and lemon out for the kids and had no corn. A big hit with 14 YO and 11YO as well as husband and I Thanks
Very nice. I used leftover barbeque chicken which tasted fine. Also substituted fettuccine for the penne. Thankyou.
Amazing... yummy... divine... super quick and filling. Serve with steamed veg and lasts us as a family of 4 two full dinners plus leftovers!!! Midweek lifesaver
This was yum and easy to cook.
Made a lot of sauce, and I'd probably use less mustard next time. I used one tablespoon of veg stock paste in place of the suggested stock.
I would really like the ingredients list in a more logical order.
A hit with the teen, pre teen, 7 year old and the adults. I just found the recipe frustrating to follow as the quantities on the side are not in order of use. I added more chicken (had 2 adults and 3 kids) but didn't alter the other quantities and I still have leftovers for lunch. I will definitely make this again, thanks.
OMG yum!
This pasta was a big hit for the family! Very yummy, I think I added more cheese than needed which reduced the sauce a bit but it really was nice.
could you use the Tm stock paste instead of powder at all?
