Sauce
- 50 grams parmesan, cubed
- 1 onion, peeled, halved
- 150 grams Bacon rasher, short cut rindless
- 10 grams olice oil
- cracked pepper, to taste
- 1 can evaporative milk, 375ml Light and Creamy
- 1 egg, beaten

Grate parmesan 5 sec/sp 9 and set aside
Chop bacon 4 sec/sp5 set aside
Chop onion 4 sec/sp4, scrape down sides
Put bacon into bowl, add some cracked pepper
Add olive oil, sauté 3min/varoma/sp1, MC off
Add can of light and creamy evap milk and parmesan
Cook for 20mins/90c/"Counter-clockwise operation" /"Gentle stir setting" with MC off
Cook pasta of your choice in saucepan
Last 2 mins put MC on and pour beaten egg on mixing bowl lid gradually to stop curdling
Place pasta into thermoserver and pour sauce over the top and mix
Tip
Add whatever pasta you want...fettucine, spaghetti

Very easy, convenient and fast
A fail for me... Not sure what I did wrong, but sauce didn't thicken up at all. I also think I prefer my back crispy so might fry this up in a pan separately next time.
I've always added cornflour to my carnation milk to thicken it. I was surprised I didn't need it for this recipe. An absolute winner!
Made this tonight, tasted great! Added some broccoli to the pasta a couple of minutes before it finished to add some extra nutrients
Feeding two hungry boys and husband, made easier with my thermie!
