I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Place all ingredients into TM bowl and cook for 30 minutes, varoma, speed 1, MC OFF. Use the steaming basket on top of the lid to prevent food splatters!
For a thicker jam, cook for another 10 minutes, varoma, speed 1.
Pour jam into a clean jar.
This jam recipe was inspired by a traditional strawberry jam recipe by CSR, which I have converted to be made in the Thermomix.
Tip
This recipe makes enough for one small-medium sized jar.
Once opened this jam will last up to 3 months in the fridge.
Other fruits can be used in place of the strawberries. This is great with raspberries, apricots, peaches, blueberries or any other fruit you like.

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

This is a wonderful Jam recipe. Thank you for sharing. It was my first ever attempt at Jam. Hayward Concrete And Masonry
I have used this recipe a couple of times now and it turns out perfect each time. I used a Pink Lady apple and turned the speed up to 1.5 as it was getting close to boiling over. It didn't need cooking any longer than the 30 minutes as it was very thick. Those who are cooking longer may consider the type of apple you use as the cause of this. (If you change your apples - don't overcook it!) I can't wait for it to cool down so I can start eating my favourite jam!! Thanks for sharing.
My daughter loves this jam. Very easy to make. I reduced sugar to 120g. Plenty sweet enough.
Has anyone made this recipe and substitued the sugar for Natvia?
Lovely jam, worked a treat. I reduced the sugar a little.
This is my go to jam, I love love love it. It is so easy and so very tasty.
I have made this many times for my family as well as for extended family and friends and constantly get requests for more.
I mixed it up a couple of weeks ago and made mixed berry which was awesome, this weekend I'll be making Blueberry jam which I'm sure is also going to be brilliant.
Hubby thinks this jam is amazing
Fantastic. Half an hour cooking was enough.
I'm just making my second batch. I'd never made jam before and I had success. I used jam sugar to be on the safe side. The vanilla added a special touch. I definitely recommend this recipe.
This jam is delicious, I will definitely make again 😀👍
