Ingredients
Apple Butter
- 5 --- Grannysmith Apples, large, only remove stems, cut each apple into quaters & cut each quater in half
- 1 teaspoon Apple Cidar Vinegar
- --- Pure Maple Syrup, 1/2 cup
- 240 grams water
- 300 grams Coconut sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoons ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon salt

1) Place all ingredients into TM bowl.
2) Cook on 100 degrees/20 minutes/speed 2. Keep MC cup on.
3) Place a thick teatowl or small bath towel over MC cup and slowly bring up speed to 8 and blend 40 seconds. Slowly reduce speed. Carefully take off lid and scrape down the sides.
4) Remove MC cup and place TM Basket ontop of lid and cook Veroma/30 minutes/ speed 2.
5) It should be nice and thick. Pour into steralized jars or air tight tubs. Store in the fridge or freeze in freezer safe tubs.

Tip
Depending on how sweet you like it, you can add more sugar toward the end until it is perfect for you.

Comments
The recipe instructions (cooking time, speed, etc.) worked perfectly with modifications: I used only 200g water, because it seemed like too much to continue adding past that point; I also used only 50g of sugar; and I left out the maple syrup as it seemed unnecessary. The flavor, texture, etc. is perfect. The recipe filled about 2/3 of a single Bon Maman jelly jar.
Very tastey but far too sweet. I used less than half the sugar and 2/3 of the maple syrup and that was still too sweet so will try cutting it further next time.
