Banana Bread

  • 303 g bananas, 3 whole ripe
  • 125 g rolled oats
  • 450 g SR Wholemeal Flour
  • 7 g baking powder, 2tsp
  • 135 g brown sugar
  • 150 g Butter, Melted
  • 375 g low fat milk
  • 10 g vanilla essence, 2tsp

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat Oven to 180C. Lightly Spray two 17.5cm x 8.5cm loat tins with olive oil. Line bases with non-stick baking paper.
  2. Put bananas in bowl. Chop, speed 3, for 30 seconds or until all blended. Remove and set aside.
  3. Put 125g Oats, 450g Flour, 7g Baking Powder, 135g Sugar, 150g Butter, 375g Milk, and 10g Vanilla into bowl. Mix on speed 3 for 10 seconds.
  4. Add banana, mix on speed 3, for 30 secs.
  5. Divide mixture between pans. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a skewer in centre comes out clean. Leave in tins for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
