Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Place garlic, onion, carrots, celery and parsley in TM bowl. Blitz on Speed 7 for 10 seconds.

  2. 2. Add sausages. Blitz on Speed 7 for 10 seconds.

  3. 3. Lay out puff pastry. Cut in to two pieces per sheet.

  4. 4. Arrange mixture in the middle of the pastry strip.

  5. 5. Dip finger tips in water. Spread around all 4 edges of the pastry (this will help the pastry stick to itself when forming the sausage rolls.

  6. 6. Roll the pastry up over the filling towards you and tuck under the remaining pastry. Squeeze the ends together so no filling can fall out.

  7. 7. Using a baking brush apply some of the beaten egg to the tops of your sausage roll (this will make them nice and golden and crunchy when they are baked).

  8. 8. Cut into portions (I cut 4 mini sausages rolls out of one long roll) and place on baking tray.

  9. 9. Bake in oven at 200C (Conventional) for approximately 30 minutes or until golden brown.
