Ingredients
Short Crust Pastry
- 150 g Plain Flour.
- 150 g self rasing flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 125 g Cold Butter
- 100 g cold water, (approx)
Filling
- 50 g Cheddar cheese
- 30 g onion
- 80 g Tomato (no seeds)
- 2 Eggs.
- 250 g milk (HiLo)

Mix all flour and salt together 10 sec / sp 4
Add 125g cold Butter (small cubes) 10 sec / sp 6
Add 60g of cold water "Counter-clockwise operation" look after 10 sec-15 sec to see if more water is required, may need a further 40g until pastry just combined.
Wrap in cling & fridge to rest while you make up filling.
FILLING
Can add lots of different filling - Ham/Bacon, Capsicum,Mushroom, sweetcorm etc
Grate Cheddar cheese 3-5 sec / sp9
Onion & tomato 2 sec / sp 7 - place filling ingredients to one side
Add eggs & milk (salt & pepper) 5 sec / sp 4
Add grated cheese/ onion/ tomato/hetbs/salt & pepper "Counter-clockwise operation" 5 - 10 sec / sp 3
Cut pastry in half to make rolling easier.
Lightly flour bench and roll pastry out to approx 3 mm thickness, using a 6cm round cutter, cut out pastry & place into ligtly greased patty pans.
Spoon mixture into pastry (making sure you dont over fill them!)
Bake at 190 for approx 20 mins (until mix is just firm)

Easy recipe (I used store bought puff ) but I did find they were very runny even though I only used 230gm of liquid (70gm of sour cream I had to use up and 160gm milk). I'd reduce the milk further next time and double the cheese for more body and flavour.
