Wow these are amazing. Flavour without being salty like some sausage rolls l have tasted. I followed the ingredients but had run out of my homemade tomato chutney so l substituted it for 2 heaped tablespoons of medium salsa as it was open in the fridge. No waste these days 😉 My go to recipe now. Many thanks Thermoperks 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
These were very yummy. Quick tip to avoid a soggy bottom is to flip them over once cooked on top and continue to cook the bottoms until crispy and golden. Great recipe!
Do you cook them first and then freeze, or only assemble and then freeze? Thanks 🙂
Sooo good! I used tomato sauce instead of relish as I didn’t have any relish. Love the use of chia seeds. Will be my go to recipe as the whole family devoured them. My only problem - the bowl was too full to mix, so I had to tip everything into a bowl and mix by hand.
Second time I've made these. They are easy and delicious. They go in the freezer for Saturday lunches. Yum
Made these tonight with 500grms total of pork and beef mince. Kept the same quantity of veg although used mushroom and capsicum instead of zucchini. I found this almost filled up my TM31 so not sure if another 500grms of meat would have fitted into the bowl.
Cooked on 200c for at least 45 mins before the pastry turned golden brown. Just had a taste off the end and its pretty delish. Using them tomorrow for our team of volunteers for International Thank a Volunteer week. Will decide if to heat them up in the microwave or have them cold tomorrow.
So yummy it is my family's new favourite haha. I added some herbs and spices and leave the mixture to sit for an hour or more to infuse and than roll. Thank you
My whole family love these sausage rolls. they request them every week
By far the best. A regularly made recipe this one
I LOVE these sausage rolls! Very easy and so tasty. They are a regular in our house!
