  • 375 grams Banana pieces
  • 40 grams vegetable oil
  • 180 grams buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Bean Paste
  • 70 grams Maple syrup
  • 300 grams Self Raising Flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 135 grams brown sugar

Recipe's preparation

    Banana bread with maple syrup

  1. Prepare a bread tin, lining it with baking paper. Preheat oven at 180c.Place banana, vegetable oil, buttermilk, eggs, vanilla bean paste & maple syrup in TM bowl with lid & measuring cup in place for 20 SEC/SPD 5.

     Remove lid and add self raising flour, baking powder,cinnamon & brown sugar. place lid & measuring cup on bowl & mix 20SEC/SPD5, remove lid again & scrap down bowl sides. Place lid & measuring cup back on bowl & mix 10SEC/SPD5.

    pour mix into prepared bread tin & bake for 45 minutes at 180c.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
