Recipe's preparation

    BASE
  1. ** Check the ingredients and method on your TM6 before starting the recipe, sometimes when bringing over a recipe it can be muddled **

Line a slice tin with baking paper
  2. Place one packet of biscuits into mixing bowl. Blitz 3 seconds speed 5. Tip into a LARGE bowl and do the same with the second pack of biscuits
  3. Break up any large biscuit pieces with hands
  4. Weigh in brown sugar, cocoa, milk and butter. Warm 6 minutes 70°C speed 2
  5. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and weigh in vanilla essence. Mix 10 seconds speed 3
  6. Pour over biscuits and combine well. Press into lined tin and refrigerate until needed. Wash and dry mixing bowl
  7. ICING
  8. Weigh in butter and water. Heat for 1:30 Varoma speed 2. Place simmering basket on top instead of measuring cup
  9. Weigh in icing sugar and cocoa. Put measuring cup back into lid. Combine 10 seconds speed 3
  10. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Weigh in milk and vanilla. Add in a pinch of salt too. 10 seconds speed 4
  11. Pour/spread over the base. You can top with sprinkles or M&Ms at this stage
  12. Refrigerate until set (over night is best if you can). Use a sharp knife and slice into pieces, the ovana pizza knife is perfect for keeping the lines straight and even

Tip

Add 1/2 a pack of mini marshmallows to the crushed biscuits. Let the hot liquid cool before pouring into biscuit mix or else it will melt the marshmallows.
You could also add in nuts or raisins if you wish.
Easy to make themed ie pink and red heart sprinkles for Valentine's day, orange, purple & green for Halloween, red, green & white for Christmas.
This freezes really well too

    Recipe is created for
    TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
