I used medjool dates as I didn’t have dried and halved the Maple syrup, mine weren’t oily at all. Nice flavours with the spices. I didn’t roll in sugar mix and they were nicely sweet 😜

Kids said “OMG these are AMAZEBALLS”.
I also found the mixture very oily. I refrigerated for a few hours, then squeezed as much oil out as I could before rolling them. Rolled the balls on the bench on paper towel to soak up extra oil. Very delish!

These tasted delicious but were certainly oily! I would recommend refrigerating them for 30 mins to make them more workable. Loved the tip about the bag and rolling them in the cinnamon sugar. Plenty of room for variations with nuts and syrups tmrc_emoticons.)

Great recipe, thanks! Mine were super oily and they're really sweet so next time I'll go with less maple syrup, but just a fantastic base recipe. Thank again tmrc_emoticons.)

Wow, these balls were delicious and tasted exactly like a cinnamon donut! Will def be making again. I rolled mine in desiccated coconut instead of cinnamon sugar to give them a more coconutty twist.

These are the best!  I didnt find the need to coat them in cinnamon sugar - they are sweet enough on their own! Yumm!  Thanks for the recipe!

Delicious!!!!! Big winner. I only used 15g of maple cause that's all I had and was sweet enough. I also squished some down and baked in the oven at 175c for 8 mins - amazing!!!
